The European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) is a multidiscipinary organisation set up to promote prevention research across Europe in the recognition that this is a field that commands much government rhetoric, but is rarely supported by sufficient resources. Some members of the Board of Prevention and Intervention attended their Annual Conference 2016 in Berlin and one presented a poster, and one Roman Gabrhelík, presented with a colleague, Jaroslav Vacekin, a symposium, on their own research entitled "Results from the Randomized Prevention Trial of Two Consecutive Universal Drug Prevention Interventions Targeted on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Marijuana".

A very useful mapping tool of prevention science across Europe can be found on their website.

The next conference is in Vienna on 20th to the 22nd September 2017.
