Work and organizational psychology

The Standing Committee on Work and Organizational psychology has the aims to:

a) facilitate the ‘Return to work’ process of people that have been long-term absent, primarily due to mental health issues (i.e. burnout)

b) that people with mental health issues can find (and maintain) a job.

Clearly both of these objectives involve prevention in a number of ways. The convenor, Professor Fred Zijlstra's own group at Maastricht University works in this area and see also the centre for inclusive employment of which he is scientific director.
